Presbyterian Agency for the Developmentally Disabled

"Creating Special Homes for Special People"

"Welcome to the website for The Presbyterian Agency for the Developmentally Disabled (PADD). Anna and I are glad you stopped by for a visit." I am Bob Kearns, Chair, PADD Board of Trustees. Anna is my daughter, and she serves on the board...and is also a resident of the Wren Home.

PADD is a faith based, non profit corporation, having its origin in the New Harmony Presbytery, a Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church, USA.  PADD's mission is to provide the highest quality of life and the greatest possible level of independence for each resident within the context of a community-based residential facility.

If you are searching for a home for a developmentally disabled family member or friend, we invite you to consider PADD as an alternative. On these pages you will find information on the history of PADD, instructions for completing a resident application, ways you can support PADD, and a snapshot of our current events.

Please visit our "News" page for the latest developments. Note that our first home has been recently completed, and opened in early August, 2007. Click here to see pictures of construction.

Would you be able to support PADD with a financial gift? PADD is currently conducting a Fall Campaign to finish a capital campaign started in 2006. Click here for more details on how you can help.

Please contact us if you would like aditional information. Once again, thank you for visiting. And finally, if you would like to have a "SIngle Page Summary" of PADD, please click here: Single Page Summary
